Submission Guidelines

We welcome new prosthetic designs from engineers, makers and students. Please follow these guidelines to help us review and approve your submission efficiently:

• Designs should be original or substantially improved versions of existing open‑source prosthetics.
• Provide STL or STEP files along with an assembly guide and bill of materials.
• Include sizing options so the device can be scaled or modified for different recipients.
• Ensure the device can be manufactured using widely available 3D printing technologies and materials.
• Avoid proprietary parts that limit accessibility or affordability.

Once submitted, our review team will evaluate the design for safety, usability and manufacturability. Approved designs will be published in our library with credit to the designer.
